Ethereal home Theater is proud to license and support HDMI LLC and Simplay certified testing and products.
Every single HDMI item that we carry has been tested and approved by HDMI LLC and Simplay (when applicable),
the agents responsible for licensing High Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) specification.
Understanding that proper design and testing are paramount to long-term reliability, we work with Jeff Boccaccio
of InVisions Technology to assure that our HDMI products exceed the standards.
Contrary to the popular myth “digital is digital, it’s just 1s and 0s” the HDMI interface is much more complex. Not
only is the quality and quantity of the “1s” and “0s” important, the consistency of the two-way communications is
also critical, Ethereal Home Theater with the help of InVisions has addressed all of these issues.
For the best possible HD video over longer distances, Ethereal Home Theater has developed the SR1 Digital
Restorer, with the SR1; 1080P at 100’ is now a reality. The SR1 will recreate the correct “Eye” pattern for a perfect
digital video picture even on long HDMI cable runs.
For the two-way data communications, we created the Low Speed Data Buss Line Driver. When the Low Speed Data
Buss Line Driver is inserted into the HDMI chain, the chances of lock-ups and HDCP issues are almost eliminated.
The Low Speed Data Buss Line Driver is built into several of our HDMI products, including the HDMI-SR1,
HDMI-WP21, HDMI-DAD and the HDMI CAT5 systems.
