Freshman Year
-Homecoming Attendants were
Kristin Denhalter and Cody Divan
-The float theme was Candy, we
recieved 2nd place
-Coach
Wittmann
won his 300th
basketball
game against the Unity Rockets
-The basketball team won the Vermilion
County Championship
-Oakwood made an agreement to co-op
with Armstrong-Potomac in several
sports
Sophomore Year
-Homecoming attendants were
Kayla Palmer and Kenny Reynolds
-The float theme was Elvis Songs
-Miss Dodge coached the first OHS
soccer team
-Dirk Miller took over coaching the
basketball team
-The OAP football team made the
playoffs
-Mrs. Anderson got her 500th win in
Scholastic Bowl
-The cheerleaders got first in the County
Taking a look back at 4 years
Junior Year
-Homecoming attendants were Jenna
Hazelbaker and Kyle Collom
-The float theme was reality game
shows, we did Survivor and the
Powderpuff team was yet to win a
game
Senior Year
-Homecoming Queen candidates were Jessica Burress, Brooke
Eickhoff, Kimber Hawkins, Courtney Keagle, and Laura Lucas.
King candidates were Kyle Collom, Travis Davis, Jacob Duncheon,
Tucker Knight, and Bryce Leeman
-The Journalism staff placed third in
the first IHSA journalism competition
-The Cheerleaders received first in
County the second year in a row
-Prom Princess was Laura Lucas and
Prince was Bryce Leeman
-Jon Heath took over the basketball
team
-Homecoming Queen was Jessica Burress and the King was
Kyle Collom, they were also named DAR and SAR
-The float theme was Movies, we did Casino Royale-James Bond
