A photography workshop portfolio of St. Augustine, Florida

Two days in St. Augustine. That was all the time needed for thirty outstanding photographers to capture
the compelling imagery published here for the first time. Creativity, skill and digital expertise were in
ample supply during this two-day October workshop. Combined with inspirational subjects, these
elements resulted in exceptional imagery that showcases both the talents of the individual
photographers and the exquisite vistas, both near and far, that abound in the
Nation’s oldest city and its superb surroundings.
Sunrise along the pristine Atlantic beaches, morning and evening walks along the ancient streets of
St. Augustine, horses prancing in the surf and racing, hooves pounding as young riders guide their
steeds around the barrels at Haven Horse Ranch. Plus, participants learned new techniques such as the
use of High Dynamic Range and Topaz filters to transform some of their images into fascinating
creations worthy of a master watercolorist. Those were indeed two special days for everyone involved –
the proof is on display in this portfolio. In fact, the experience was so memorable, that we’d really like to
