The CI-202 and CI-203 employ similar technologies and both are world-class instruments. The CI-203
is a more convenient option for non-destructive leaf area measurements. Additionally, the CI-203
works with the CI-203CA Conveyor Attachment for high-throughput measurements. For washed
root studies, the CI-203RL is a perfect compliment to the CI-203. Unlike the CI-203, the CI-202 uses a
reflective scan board for measurements. The major benefit of using the scan board is it enables the
measurement of delicate leaves, needles and seeds.
