Packaging Corp., Ginebra San Miguel, Inc., Cenapro
Chemical Corp., D’RBG Marine Ex-Import, Monde Nissin
Corp., Cebu Premier Industrial Gases Corp., Nutri-Asia,
Inc., APY Cane, Inc., Sunpride Foods, Inc., IPI, Faithope
Industries, Inc. and North General Hospital; the trimedia
particularly ABS-CBN, the Philippine National
Police, Junior Jaycees Society, Oikos Environmental
Society, other Volunteer NGOs and the DENR with representatives
from its sectors and line-bureaus.
A Peek to the Program’s Sustainability
More partners have declared their commitment
to the program after a series of dialogue and close coordination
with them. Since the program was launched,
some 13 companies already have signed the Memorandum
of Agreement as Donor Partners, namely: ABS-CBN
Broadcasting Corp., Dedon Manufacturing Inc., Concrete
Solutions Inc., Profood International Corp., RRDS Petro-
Chemical Industries, Inc., Lami Food Products, JLR
Construction and Aggregates, Inc., Maritrans Recycler,
Inc., Treasure Island Industrial Corp., Cenapro Chemical
Corporation, Greencoil Industries, Inc., Sunpride Foods,
Inc. and Cebu Holdings, Inc. While 3 more interested
stakeholders are planning to join in the next MOA
signing schedule.
There were many other clean up and mangrove
planting events that were conducted by other partner
companies and LGUs within their respective areas of
jurisdiction and chosen sites in the region. All these
initiatives have even more crowned the Clean up Month
Celebration with glory and have made the Adopt-a-
River/Estero program to take root.
