(1) Members of local boards of trustees elect <strong>Region</strong> <strong>10</strong> Board of Directors, approve district participation in programs, and advise the<br />
regional board regarding effectiveness of center management and services.<br />
(2) Each local board of trustees appoints a representative to the <strong>Region</strong>al Advisory Committee, i.e., the Superintendent.<br />
(3) The Head Start Policy Council provides input to the Head Start Program, which in turn is communicated to the Board of Directors.
