Rule Revision: Roxann Rohrl made a motion to change the youth allaround to a youth hi-point award. Ron Cramer seconded the motion and the motion passed unanimously. o The new rule will read: Five awards will be presented to the top five (5) Youth by the OPHYC. These awards are given to the youth with the highest number of youth points (13 & under or 14-18 classes). To qualify for these awards a youth/horse must show under ten (10) judges of which five (5) must be at single judge (non-Paint-O-Rama) shows. If a class is offered fewer that ten (10) times, the horse and rider combination must show in five (5) classes to be eligible. Equine Affaire- The breed demonstration for APHA will be Friday from 3:00-3:15. OPHC will have volunteers to run the booth for the event. Mari made a motion to spend $1000.00 on promotional items to give away at the booth. Roxann Rohrl seconded the motion and the motion passed unanimously. Marie made a motion to give out 1 membership in a daily drawing at the Equine Affaire. Kyle Kegley seconded the motion and the motion passed unanimously. Marie Ternes made a motion that all advertising by the committee chairs be brought to the board for prior approval. Kyle Kegley seconded the motion and the motion passed unanimously. Ring Stewart at the Buckeye: Marie Ternes made a motion to pay Ron Cramer to be a ring stewart at the Buckeye Show. Yvette Hauenstein seconded the motion and the motion passed with one abstention. Marie Ternes made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Yvette Hauenstein seconded the motion and the motion passed unanimously! Next Meeting will be at the Buckeye Show!
