opposed by computer consultant, Paul Mitchell. Cole<br />

represents the 62 nd District.<br />

Rep. Dave Winters (R-Shirland), after deciding not<br />

to run for Lt. Governor, finds himself in a race from the<br />

candidate he recruited to replace him in the House, John<br />

Cabello. Rep. Winters has been a good supporter of<br />

APSA of Illinois and the business community. When he<br />

served as spokesman of the Labor Committee, he<br />

sponsored many small business initiatives and<br />

vigorously opposed more government mandates on<br />

business. He is from District 68 and has a four-year<br />

APSA of Illinois rating of 83.<br />

In the western Illinois 94 th District, Rep. Rich Myers<br />

(R-Macomb) has a primary opponent named Victoria<br />

Mohr. Rich is another solid APSA of Illinois supporter<br />

with a four-year average rating of 91.<br />

along with Golf Benefit Coordinators Norman May and<br />

Sue Miller, presented a check for $15,000 on November<br />

16, 2009 to Alison Storm of the Make-A-Wish<br />

Foundation of Illinois. The presentation was made at the<br />

McKay NAPA Corporate Headquarters in Litchfield. The<br />

donation, the largest in the company’s history for the<br />

third year in a row, will sponsor wishes for three<br />

children in Central Illinois. Wishes will be sponsored for<br />

Ryan, 8, Bethalto; Salina, 9, Collinsville; and Jordan, 11,<br />

Edwardsville. The money was raised at the company’s<br />

11 th Annual McKay NAPA Auto <strong>Parts</strong> & Make-A-Wish<br />

Golf Classic held at Woodlands Golf Club in Alton with<br />

over 160 golfers participating.<br />
