<strong>Serra</strong> Guidance Counselor Tom MacKenzie did some “catching up” with alum<br />
Tom Brady ‘95 after the Patriots vs. Browns game in January. MacKenzie was<br />
Brady’s football coach during his years here at <strong>Serra</strong>, and he makes it a point<br />
to attend at least one of Brady’s games during the season. The 2008 season<br />
shouldn’t be a problem, as the Patriots will be coming to the Bay Area to play<br />
the 49ers on October 5th!<br />
Garrett Pene ‘05 graduated recently<br />
from the police academy at CSM and<br />
subsequently hired by the Millbrae<br />
Police Department.<br />

There’s nothing like a wedding to bring family, friends and <strong>Padre</strong> “brothers” together. The two group photos below were taken at distinct<br />
wedding receptions; however, there’s certainly something familiar about them! A total of twenty-one <strong>Padre</strong>s make up the two happy groups<br />
pictured below celebrating the weddings of Carl ‘93 & Heather Peterson and Tim ‘84 & Heather McKercher. The father of the bride in the<br />
McKercher wedding, Pat Larkin ‘56, is also a <strong>Padre</strong> alum!<br />
