Capital Campaign Success Continues!
We are pleased to announce that the Honoring Our Past,
Preserving Our Future Capital Campaign at Saint
Agnes has not only surpassed the challenge goal of $5
million, but is continuing strong as the summer is upon us. In
recognition of the 125th anniversary of the church and school,
the campaign was established to address the need for many longstanding
repairs and improvements within the facilities.
A recent announcement of a $250,000 matching gift has motivated
many to pledge new or additional funds. For this we are extremely grateful.
Supporters have been invited to consider the option of designating their gift toward the sponsorship of
a particular project or need within the campaign. Several of our “Gift Opportunities” have already been
pledged, with the most significant being a single gift of $1 million in order to replace the school roof;
construction for this important project will begin already this summer. We are currently working with
engineers and architects in finalizing plans for the elevator replacement, in addition to the groundwork
and research for other campaign priorities.
Students and faculty are excited by the prospects of renewed classrooms, a modernized science
lab, upgraded technology or something as simple as a new cafeteria table. There are still many “Gift
Opportunities” available and listed on our website.
It was our hope to go “Beyond the Challenge Goal” and through the generosity of our alumni, supporters
and friends, we have crossed that benchmark. As we stated in the original campaign announcement, “All
additional funds raised over the $5 million dollar challenge will be used toward current and long term
needs of both the church and the school.” These needed funds include, but are not limited to, building
maintenance and repair, and our critically needed student scholarship funds. Many of our students
require financial assistance to receive the quality Catholic education that is offered here at Saint Agnes.
As we celebrate our 125th anniversary we want to ensure that we can continue to serve many generations
to come. We invite you to be a part of this hopeful future. Some of you may find significance in seeing
your family name memorialized on a plaque recognizing supporters of the campaign. Gifts of every size
are needed and appreciated. We hope that you will prayerfully consider giving!
