6/04 as SEGS63 (not sold in either sale) – reverse shows<br />

die break not known on any silver example so probably<br />

counterfeit. Cline also owns the 50% off-center on struck<br />

cent which appears in Taxay. It did not look real to me.<br />

Fred Weinberg says it is a fake.<br />

On nickel planchet 1) 1918-S struck 25% off-center !!<br />

On quarters-at least 10 known, dates seen include 1941,<br />

42, 43 and 44, 2 of each and at least one known showing<br />

no date Byers – PCGS63 to Mike Byers and also one no<br />

date s-mint double struck 50% off-center . Kosoff’s toned<br />

example has since been dipped<br />

1943-S on Peru ½ sol – ANR/Stacks 11/06 (this was<br />

accompanied by 2 double struck walkers !!) to NE<br />

Numismatics, Heritage 1/08 with the other 2.<br />

1945-S on San Salvador 25 centavo planchet – Mike Byers<br />
