In recent years OPENpredictor
The best support a company,
busy in consolidating its market
position, can get is when
customers actively recommend
its products and services.
In this issue of Dynamics News
we are happy to share two
such examples with you from
different corners of the world.
Electricité de France, the
world’s largest power producer,
have now actively worked with
Rovsing Dynamics since 2004
and applied OPENpredictor on
many of their plants.
EDF’s engineering unit have
implemented an e-monitoring
set-up, and uses information
from the condition monitoring
system to provide operational
support and recommend future
maintenance activities, based
on the anticipated machine
degradation. The concept has
so far proven well.
Equally important statements
were given as conclusion
on an appraisal meeting in
the Guangdong Province in
China, where highly esteemed
Chinese professors reviewed
the OPENpredictor system
recently commissioned on
the Meixian power plant. We
were happy to learn that the
evaluating expert team issued
a positive statement concluding
that “All in all, OPENpredictor
is an advanced system in
the world marketing place,
deserved to be adopted by our
domestic establishments.”
The below update on our
efforts in the maritime industry
includes several new systems
on order and a pending marine
approval of our condition
monitoring system.
We are happy to share the

has found its way to more
and more applications in the
maritime industry. Owners of
container ships, oil tankers,
ferries and supply vessels have
chosen the system to monitor
e.g. bearings and other critical
components of the main engine,
turbochargers and thrusters
as part of a condition based
maintenance strategy and to
avoid open-up inspections.
Therefore, Rovsing Dynamics
is in the process of having
Bureau Veritas type approve
the OPENpredictor system for
online condition monitoring of
bearing wear and other faults
on vessel machinery.
