CONDITIONS OF <strong>SALE</strong>: The auction Rules and Conditions of Sale drawn up by the NBA.<br />

This Sale is held subject to these rules and the Auctioneers’ General Conditions of sale, both<br />

available on request. In the event of and discrepancy between the two sets of conditions, the<br />

NBA Conditions of sale shall prevail.<br />

Method of Sale: All Pedigree cattle will be sold in guineas (105 pence) and in strict<br />

catalogue order, unless any alterations are announced by the auctioneers. Commercial Cattle will<br />

be sold in £’s per head.<br />

Commissions: The auctioneers will dutifully execute commission to purchase for buyers<br />

unable to attend the sale personally, upon the receipt of written instructions.<br />

SETTLEMENT AND CLEARANCE OF STOCK: Settlement in full is due immediately at the close<br />

of the Sale. No Animal may leave the Sale Premises without an official ‘Pass Slip’, obtainable<br />

only from the Auctioneers upon settlement. Purchasers unable to remove their stock on the day<br />

of sale can arrange overnight accommodation with the Auctioneers on the understanding that all<br />

cattle are at Purchasers’ risk.<br />

Pedigree Transfers and fees: All animals purchased are eligible for transfer at the cost<br />

of the purchaser.<br />

SEMEN ROYALTY SCHEME BULL REGISTER: Purchasers are asked to note that where a<br />

female is catalogued as being served/inseminated by a ‘Semen Roylaty’ Sire. The appropriate<br />

royalty will be payable by the purchaser prior to registration of the calf.<br />

Veterinary Inspection: For the buyer’s convenience, a Veterinary Inspection will be carried<br />

out on all bulls entered for the sale. A Veterinary Officer will examine general health and genetic<br />

defects particularly teeth, eyes, testicles, warts and locomotion. Any animal found with a genetic<br />

fault, disease or disorder will be rejected.<br />

Herd health: as stated declared by the vendor in catalogue or from the rostrum.<br />
