Altar & Rosary Society Mass & Breakfast All Altar & Rosary Society members are invited to attend the 8:00 a.m. Mass on Sunday, April 15th. Pews will be reserved for you and your family in front of the altar. Following Mass, breakfast will be served in the Cafeteria for Altar & Rosary members. Please call the parish office at (219) 836-8610 to make your breakfast reservation. Our guest speaker will be Mike Casey, a Personal Trainer from Hodges Chiropractic in Munster. Mike will be demonstrating “chair yoga” exercises, something that all of us can do. Please bring new baby items. These items will be given to the Women’s Center in Hammond. Holy Name Society The next meeting of the Holy Name Society will be Monday, April 16 at 7:00 p.m. — Solar Room Pray the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Our regular meeting will follow at 7:30 p.m. with pizza and refreshments. We will be discussing our annual Corporate Communion Mass & Breakfast. Some real surprises await you. Our first trip of the year will be Thursday, April 19, 2012 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Plans have been made for us to travel to Cornwell’s Turkeyville in Marshall, MI. After a delicious home-cooked turkey buffet luncheon, we’ll enjoy the hilarious theatrical production of “Church Basement Ladies”. The Cornwell family has invited us to stay and visit their Gift Shoppes & Bakery, filled with freshly baked breads, pies, fudge & other specialties. Enjoy some old-fashioned country fun and another great day for our Travelers! The cost of $63 per person includes transportation, luncheon, theater production and all gratuities. This trip is almost full, so don’t delay in making your reservations at the parish office. Your check will secure your reservation. Hurry! Only a few spots are left! Personal Care Drive Sponsored by the STM Moms’ Group Donations of personal grooming products for area agencies will be accepted until April 1st. Look for collection boxes at the church, school, parish office & Weis Center entrances. Items needed are: travel size bottles of shampoo/conditioner, soap, mouthwash, deodorant, bath gels.
