Eurosport Events, Host Broadcaster<br />
Eurosport Events is in charge of the TV Production for the 2012 FIA <strong>WTCC</strong> season.<br />
As part of the Eurosport Group, Eurosport Events takes benefit of the Broadcasters’ expertise to use both the<br />
latest technology and the editorial know-how to offer the best possible TV coverage of the FIA <strong>WTCC</strong>.<br />
High Definition<br />
The high-quality and innovative Live TV production has been further enhanced in 2009, as the <strong>WTCC</strong> has become<br />
the first FIA World Championship to be produced in native High Definition.<br />
The plans for the 2012 calendar include the production in HD of most of the championship’s rounds:<br />
– All the seven European events including Marrakech<br />
– Sonoma, Suzuka and Shanghai<br />
In addition to Eurosport HD channel<br />
– the high definition simulcast of<br />
Eurosport – several broadcasters<br />
are expected to air <strong>WTCC</strong> in HD<br />
over the course of the season.<br />
For the first time in 7 <strong>WTCC</strong> seasons,<br />
all 24 on-board cameras will be in<br />
HD for a better broadcast quality.
