We welcome you to the ASCL Certified <strong>Cyber</strong> Crime Investigator course<br />
conducted by <strong>Asian</strong> <strong>School</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Cyber</strong> <strong>Laws</strong>. This course will be a<br />
wonderful learning opportunity for you.<br />
1. Course Details<br />
Your batch number and roll number have been sent to you by email<br />
and SMS.<br />
The course is divided into the following 7 modules:<br />
1. Computer Hardware, Networks and Internet<br />
2. Understanding how cyber criminals and hackers work<br />
3. <strong>Cyber</strong> Forensics & Investigation Techniques - 1<br />
4. <strong>Cyber</strong> Forensics & Investigation Techniques - 2<br />
5. Documentation and Reporting<br />
6. Legal Issues<br />
7. Real World <strong>Cyber</strong> Crime Investigations<br />
Course material and reference books are provided to you for study.<br />
Additionally relevant s<strong>of</strong>tware (including academic licence <strong>of</strong> Winhex<br />
s<strong>of</strong>tware) is also provided to you.<br />
In total, the courseware consists <strong>of</strong> 12 books and 5 CD ROMs.<br />
2. Contact Classes<br />
2 contact classes are conducted. Contact classes are meant for<br />
introducing you to the courseware as well as for clarifying your queries.<br />
Contact classes are held at Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Ernakulum,<br />
Mumbai and Pune.<br />
Although, attendance is not compulsory, we recommend that you<br />
attend the contact classes at a centre convenient to you.<br />
