The <strong>Israel</strong> NewTech program was founded on the belief that the water<br />
and susta<strong>in</strong>able energy sectors have the potential to be strong growth<br />
<strong>in</strong>dustries for the country, and play an important role <strong>in</strong> meet<strong>in</strong>g the<br />
world’s ris<strong>in</strong>g needs.<br />
This pioneer<strong>in</strong>g national program is led by the M<strong>in</strong>istry of <strong>Industry</strong>,<br />
Trade and Labor, and is supported by a number of additional<br />
government agencies. <strong>Israel</strong> NewTech helps to advance the water<br />
and susta<strong>in</strong>able energy sectors by support<strong>in</strong>g academia and research,<br />
