in the record books for digs in a season at <strong>Murray</strong> <strong>State</strong>...<br />
her 4.4 digs per set also ranked her No. 77 in the nation..<br />
she was third in the OVC with 5.25 digs per set against<br />

BEFORE MSU: Was a four-year member of the volleyball team at Mercy Academy...helped the Jaguars to fourstraight<br />
district and regional championships, while advancing to the state quarterfinals in 2006, the semifinals<br />
in 2005 & 2007, and finishing as state runner-up in 2004...named to the district All-Tournament Team her<br />
senior and sophomore seasons...Mercy Academy earned a top-10 national ranking from Prep<strong>Volleyball</strong>.com,<br />
finishing the season with a 38-4 mark...earned Defensive Dandy honor from Prep<strong>Volleyball</strong>.com, as one of the<br />
top-36 defensive players in the nation...named to the Kentucky <strong>State</strong> All-Tournament team in 2006...earned<br />
three consecutive Berkely Premier Classic Championships (2005, 2006, 2007)...also played for the Kentucky<br />
Indiana <strong>Volleyball</strong> Academy (KIVA) club team...won the 2008 AAU national Championship with KIVA 18 White<br />
squad and earned 2008 AAU All-American honors...helped the Asics KIVA 16 Red Team earn a third-place<br />
finish in the Gold Division at the 2006 Junior Olympics and the Asics KIVA 15 Red Team to a second-place<br />
finish in the Gold Division at the 2005 Junior Olympics....also participated in basketball while a prep...her older<br />
sister BriAnne is a sophomore defensive specialist on the <strong>University</strong> of Kentucky volleyball squad.<br />
PERSONAL: Born Kayleah Michelle Sauer, May 3, 1990 in Louisville, Ky....daughter of Chris and Melinda<br />
Sauer...has two sisters, BriAnne (21) and Molly (12), and one brother, Austin (17)...majoring in learning<br />
behavioral disorders.<br />
