Geelong
Geelong offers any shopper the opportunity to enjoy a great day by the coast with all the shops you would expect in a major city.
From the newly revived Geelong Waterfront precinct to the central shopping strips, you’ll be able to find whatever it is you are after.
Shopping in Geelong is bigger than ever, so once you’ve shopped ‘til you drop, explore the Eastern Beach precinct where you’ll find
the Geelong Botanic Gardens, established in 1851.
Getting there:
Geelong is only about an hour by train from Melbourne’s Southern Cross Station. The great offers you’ll see listed on the next couple
of pages are relevant to businesses located near Geelong Station, although it’s worth knowing that Geelong itself is served by a total
of five train stations. V/Line also offers bus services linking Geelong with other towns around Victoria, and your V/Line ticket is valid
for travel on the Geelong Transit System at no extra cost. If you’re travelling from a metropolitan station, your V-Line ticket also entitles
you to free travel on trams, trains and buses.
