<strong>digital</strong> <strong>ceramic</strong> pr<strong>in</strong>t<strong>in</strong>g<br />

Paul Scott and Paul Wandless have both<br />

helped usher <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> renaissance of<br />

decals, silk-screen<strong>in</strong>g, and o<strong>the</strong>r pr<strong>in</strong>t<strong>in</strong>g<br />

techniques currently <strong>in</strong> vogue <strong>in</strong> contemporary<br />

<strong>ceramic</strong> art. Scott wrote<br />

Ceramics and Pr<strong>in</strong>t <strong>in</strong> 1994 and is a senior<br />

research fellow <strong>in</strong> <strong>ceramic</strong>s at <strong>the</strong><br />

University of Newcastle, England. Paul<br />

Wandless wrote <strong>the</strong> 2006 book Image<br />

Transfer on Clay. S<strong>in</strong>ce <strong>the</strong> publications<br />

of <strong>the</strong>se books, new technologies are<br />

redef<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong> <strong>ceramic</strong> <strong>in</strong>dustry and are<br />

mak<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong>ir way <strong>in</strong>to university curricula,<br />

especially <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> United K<strong>in</strong>gdom.<br />

high resolution images onto <strong>ceramic</strong><br />
