Bailey Library Modernization
Bailey Library is 25 years old and inadequately
sized for East Los Angeles College’s current
enrollment and future growth forecast. This
project will modernize Bailey Library and
construct a 10,000-square-foot addition to
reconfigure the building as a functional support
space for students and the community.
Our new library will feature a library/learning
resource center with advanced technology,
conference and study areas, electronic book
check-out stations, a multi-media center, and
fully integrated data and telecommunication
connections.
Other East Los Angeles College projects include
a new student success building to consolidate
language-arts programs into a single, cohesive
center; a new, three-story multi-media classroom
facility; the reconstruction of two music
buildings; a new public services career building;
and the renovation and modernization of
several administration and support facilities.
