Is it DKD<br />

CKD should be attributable to diabetes if:<br />

Macroalbum<strong>in</strong>uria is present; or<br />

<strong>Microalbum<strong>in</strong>uria</strong> is present:<br />

• <strong>in</strong> the presence of diabetic ret<strong>in</strong>opathy<br />

• <strong>in</strong> type 1 diabetes of at least 10 years’ duration<br />
