received her master’s in religion from<br />

Yale University, where she was a senior<br />

class officer in the divinity school.<br />

Marie Higgins Williams received<br />

her law degree from the University of<br />

Colorado in 2000 and practices with<br />

Faegre & Benson LLP in Denver.<br />

1998<br />

Lee Beckmann worked for Congressman<br />

Jack Kingston in Washington,<br />

DC, and is now manager of legislative<br />

affairs with the Georgia Port<br />

Authority. He and his wife, Danira,<br />

and son, Andrew, live in Savannah.<br />

James Buescher is a journalist and<br />

has published the 2002 Cognosenti<br />

Map Guides: Las Vegas and a play,<br />

Flambee. He won first place for his<br />

journalism entry, The Kiriwina Yam<br />

Festival of Papua, New Guinea, at the<br />

<strong>2004</strong> Penn Writers Conference and<br />

first place for his short story, The<br />

Perfect Word in Budapest.<br />

Michael R. Burns is an interactive<br />

developer and lead technical contact<br />

for clients and projects with the<br />

Atlanta-based design firm of<br />

Elemental Interactive. He and his<br />

wife, Allison, have added a retired<br />

racing greyhound to their family in<br />

Dunwoody, GA.<br />

Dennis Glendenning (MBA) is a<br />

systems engineer II with the Midwest<br />

region of Avanade Inc., a joint venture<br />

of Microsoft and Accenture. He<br />

and his wife, Melissa, live in Olmsted<br />

Falls, OH.<br />

Holly A. Litle graduated from<br />

Georgetown University School of<br />

Medicine where she was a member<br />

of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor<br />

Medical Society. Her internal medicine<br />

residency is at Emory University<br />

School of Medicine in Atlanta. After<br />

her residency, she plans to fulfill her<br />

commitment to the National Health<br />

Service Corps and practice in a medically<br />

underserved area of the country.<br />

Kedi Finkbeiner Milajecki is on the<br />

men’s basketball staff at Georgetown<br />

University. She and her husband,<br />

Thomas, live in Baltimore, MD.<br />

Lindsay Mitchell graduated from<br />

Upstate Medical University in<br />

Syracuse, NY, in 2003. She is in her<br />

second year as an obstetrics and<br />

gynecology resident at Brown<br />

University’s Women and Infants<br />

Hospital in Providence, RI.<br />

Patrick Noble is an assistant vice<br />

president and relationship banker at<br />

First Citizens Bank in Durham, NC.<br />

David L. Shabazz (MAEd) is director<br />

of public relations at Kentucky State<br />

University in Frankfort.<br />

Jill Mahonchak Andersen (JD) is<br />

an assistant U.S. attorney for the<br />

District of New Jersey in Newark.<br />

Paul Anderson (JD) is an associate,<br />

concentrating on transactional law, at<br />

Schwartz Simon Edelstein Celse &<br />

Kessler in Florham Park, NJ.<br />

Stephanie Falk graduated from<br />

the University of North Carolina at<br />

Chapel Hill School of Medicine.<br />

She will complete her residency<br />

training in internal medicine at<br />

UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill.<br />

Leigh Hamm Forell is pursuing a<br />

PhD at the University of Texas.<br />

been recognized as a leader in production<br />

with MassMutual Financial<br />

Group.<br />

Kyle P. Hughes is a news producer<br />

for WRAL-TV in Raleigh, NC.<br />

Julie M. Hupp is an instructor in<br />

developmental psychology at Ohio<br />

State University in Newark.<br />

Rohom Khonsari graduated from<br />

Tulane Law School. He is an assistant<br />

state attorney in the State Attorney’s<br />

Office for the Sixth Judicial Circuit of<br />

Florida.<br />

M. Tina Markanda (MBA) is assistant<br />

director of the Health Care<br />

Division of The Duke Endowment<br />

in Charlotte, NC.<br />

Kevin Markland (MBA) is regional<br />

credit officer for BB&T’s Western<br />

region. He and his wife, Kelly (’92),<br />

and their four children live in Asheville,<br />

NC.<br />

W. Vaughn McCall (MS) is professor<br />

and chairman of the department of<br />

psychiatry and behavioral medicine<br />

at <strong>Wake</strong> <strong>Forest</strong> University Baptist<br />

Medical Center. He is president of<br />

the Association for Convulsive<br />

Therapy and editor of the Journal of<br />

ECT (Electroconvulsive Therapy).<br />

John H. Moore graduated from the<br />

Medical College of Georgia. He has<br />

begun a combined internal medicine<br />

and pediatrics residency at the<br />

University of Tennesee in Memphis.<br />
