Active Dover Grant Application Form - Individual Sports Performers

Grant Application for
INDIVIDUALS SPORTS PERFORMERS (2013 – 2014)
PLEASE NOTE
Individual performers are only eligible to apply for the ‘Active Dover’ grant for no more than 3
consecutive years.
CRITERIA
Individuals applying for grant aid must;
Participate at sport at a county, national or international standard
Reside within the Dover District (Dover, Deal, Sandwich, Aylesham and Rural Area),
Be affiliated to a relevant National Governing Body of Sport,
Demonstrate that additional funds/grants have been sourced, i.e. through fund raising activities,
sponsors and applications to other funding bodies,
Provide evidence of sporting achievements / goals,
Provide a supporting letter from either; the National Governing Body of Sport, or a appropriate
School Official / Employer.
SCORING
Assessment of applications will be based upon the above criteria and the following;
The level at which the individual performs/competes,
The extent to which participation/performance in sport/active recreation will be increased,
Financial need and the amount of fundraising achieved by the individual.
Demonstration that the applicant has applied to other grant bodies or is seeking sponsorship.
