BIZ SUMMER SCHOOL AND PRODUCTION 2 WEEKS IN AUGUST Every year we do a fantastic 2 week summer school production, rehearsing near Woking/ Guildford, culminating in a fully staged performance of a Musical at The RHODA MCGAW Theatre. This years production was FOOTLOOSE. Places are in very high demand so if you are interested please contact us as soon as possible as places are already going fast!. There is a discount to current Biz pupils who sign up early and we are able to offer a 10% discount on the second child in a family. Places to the summer school are offered on a first come first served basis and everyone is welcome to apply, although they will need to audition to be considered for any principal roles. We again expect to have an overwhelming response so if you are interested you will need contact us as soon as possible to confirm a place for 2013. Director, Erika Vincent did a marvellous job of guiding the young cast through two solid weeks of rehearsal and producing such an energetic show. …….Musical Direction from Richard Cartmale and brilliantly lively choreography from Phyllida Crowley Smith combined to present a show full of wonderful musical numbers that left the audience humming the tunes and bouncing their feet up and down.……If Biz Productions’ aim was to send the audience home singing the title song ‘Footloose’ then they certainly succeeded! Congratulations to all involved for such an enjoyable evening. If The Biz Theatre School can produce such a gem of a show in just two weeks, given a couple of months I’m sure the young cast wouldn't be out of place on a London stage.”
