None of the writers are receiving pay for their contributions to this book. It is a labor of love for Jesus Christ. I was greatly encouraged in this task by two coworkers, who also supervise my work at the Home Mission Board (HMB), Darrell Robinson and Thad Hamilton. My pastor, Ike Reighard, also encouraged and wrote letters to many of the preachers whose sermons are in this book. Other coworkers who labored with me include my faithful secretary, Jo Still, and word processor Faye Kingsland. Thomas Wright, director of Materials Development for the Evangelism Section of the HMB, and his staff worked with Mary Branson, director of the Editing Department, and Pat Cravens, director of the Design Department at the HMB. Many other hands touched these sermons on their way to print, including those of Alice Felton, typographer, and David Sharpton, who assisted with reading and making suggestions. Bill Junker, former director of the HMB Materials Production Department, edited the overall manuscript, and Paul Obregón took the photograph for the cover. Rick Head, director of the Marketing Department, bridged some chasms that could have stopped the publication. Compiling these sermons has brought an awareness of many other great writers of soul-winning motivational sermons who would have been willing to contribute sermons.
