Who is our service for
Our service is for people who have mental health problems and who have become involved
with the criminal justice system. We assess and manage people who cannot safely be treated in
conditions other than a medium security environment.
Eligibility
›› 18+ years
›› Male or female
›› Psychosis or personality disorder with a history of risk of
violence to others
›› Psychosis or personality disorder with risk of imminent but
not grave harm to others
›› Psychosis or personality disorder with a history of
offending behaviour
Exclusion
›› No mental health problem
›› Primary diagnosis of alcohol or other substance misuse
›› Brain damage or other organic disorders,
including dementia
›› Diagnosis of a learning disability without a co-existing
mental health problem
›› Autistic spectrum disorders without a co-morbid mental
health problem
