"Take some of the boughs, and lay them into the
ground about half a foot deep in fine fresh mould,
leaving them with the end of the layer about a foot,
or a foot and an half, out of the ground, and keep
them moist during the summer season, and they
will probably have taken, and be fit to remove, in
autumn.”
