Infield Specific <strong>Camping</strong> <strong>Rules</strong> and <strong>Regulations</strong><br />
• All motorized vehicles must have a valid state license plate. No golf carts, motorized<br />
bikes, skateboards, rollerblades, bicycles, scooters, etc. are permitted.<br />
• All fans and visitors must have an infield ticket/credential which must be displayed at all<br />
times.<br />
• Guests subject to inspection for re-entry.<br />
• Photo ID must accompany a credential and be presented when requested by <strong>Charlotte</strong><br />
<strong>Motor</strong> <strong>Speedway</strong> officials/employees.<br />
• Grandstand tickets are not acceptable for admission into the infield.<br />
• Public drunkenness, violence, or lewd behavior will not be tolerated.<br />
• No wagon races or other reckless activity that could cause serious injury are permitted.<br />
• No fires or fire rings.<br />
• No grilling or fires of any kind during race activities.<br />
• No firearms, dangerous weapons, or fireworks permitted as specified by local authorities.<br />
• No soliciting or commercial sales permitted.<br />
• Parking sticker/validation credential must be affixed to windshield/proper location at all<br />
times.<br />
• No oversized flatbed, box, or cube trucks will be permitted.<br />
• Quiet time enforced from 12 midnight till 7:00 am.<br />
• Campers are requested to turn generators off from 12 midnight till 7:00 am.<br />
o Anyone needing a generator for comfort or medical needs can see their camping<br />
attendants and will be permitted to use their generator provided they have the “uppipe<br />
exhaust” that will lessen the dangers of carbon monoxide. This would apply<br />
to motor homes and units with very low decibel generators.<br />
o High decibel generators can be moved to the outskirts of their campground so as<br />
not to disturb the other guests and keep them awake and safe.<br />
• Please be aware of all carbon monoxide dangers that can be harmful to you or other<br />
guests.<br />
• Vehicle and generator exhaust MUST be expelled safely into roadways and not into<br />
adjacent campsites.<br />
• Please place trash in receptacles or trash bags.<br />
• Speed limit throughout the campgrounds is 5 MPH.<br />
• Scaffolding and flag height restrictions:<br />
o South Infield (Turns 1 & 2) 8 feet maximum<br />
• Tents, Vans, and very small campers only<br />
o North Infield (Turns 3 & 4) 12 feet maximum<br />
• RVs only (no tents except during the All Star weekend)<br />
• One camping unit and one vehicle per site. No Exceptions!! Vehicle and camping<br />
equipment must not extend beyond assigned space.<br />
• Units must be parked with the front end exposed. Officials must be able to remove any<br />
unit immediately in the event of an emergency. No unit permitted to park in an L-shape,<br />
U-shape, etc.
