After your <strong>Tiger</strong> <strong>Cub</strong> completes an activity to the best of<br />
his ability, take the opportunity to talk with him and reflect<br />
on the experience. The purposes of <strong>Cub</strong> Scouting and<br />
Character Connections can help you do this. You will find<br />
Character Connection discussion questions in five of the<br />
achievement parts below.<br />
The Purposes of <strong>Cub</strong> Scouting<br />
<strong>Tiger</strong> <strong>Cub</strong>s is the first step of <strong>Cub</strong> Scouting, which the<br />
Boy Scouts of America offers for boys in first through fifth<br />
grade (or who are 7, 8, 9, or 10 years old). Parents, leaders,<br />
and organizations work together to achieve the 10 purposes<br />
