<strong>Nobility</strong> <strong>of</strong> Sayyidunā Abū Dardā<br />
brothers for well wishing <strong>of</strong> Ummaĥ has totally transformed<br />
me now. I have two boys and I have made intention<br />
to book them for the cause <strong>of</strong> Madanī activities <strong>of</strong> <strong>Dawat</strong>-e-<br />
<strong>Islami</strong>.’<br />
Mukhtaṣar sī zindagī ĥay bhāīyo!<br />
Naykiyān kījiye, nā ghaflat kījiye<br />
Gar rizā-e-Mustafa darkār ĥay<br />
Sunnataun kī khūb khidmat kījiye<br />
Sunnatayn apnā kay ḥāṣil bhāīyo!<br />
Raḥmat-e-Maulā say Jannat kījiye<br />
(Wasāil-e-Bakhshish, p. 120)<br />

Dear <strong>Islami</strong>c brothers! Sayyidunā Abū Dardā <br />
<br />
was<br />
extremely zealous in spreading call towards righteousness. For<br />
this purpose, he once planned to set out for Syria and asked<br />
Amīr-ul-Mūminīn Sayyidunā ‘Umar Fārūq <br />
<br />
for the<br />
same. Initially the Amīr-ul-Mūminīn refused. But later he<br />
granted permission on the condition that Sayyidunā Abū<br />
Dardā <br />
<br />
will have to take the charge <strong>of</strong> the Governor.<br />
