A FEW NOTES….
This month we welcome a few more new people to the schedule! Thank you to all have joined the ranks of Lirutrgical Ministers as well as those
who have continued to support the parish in this way for a long time.
If you have changed your email address recently please tell us! Email is the fastest and easiest way to distribute schedules.
The subject of tornadoes was recently raised and what do we do if the warning sirens go off during Mass.
The answer is - people who can handle the stairs would be asked to go to the basement. There are two sets of stairs in the Narthex,
(one on the west side, across from the ladies’ bathroom and one on the east side by the small entrance. The doors at the bottom of the stairs
would need to be unlocked. The Scrip key in the Sacristy will unlock them. The priests have keys as do the department heads.
Anyone in a wheelchair or who cannot get down the steps is to be guided into the Sacristy. As an interior room with no windows it should be
one of the safest spots.
Ushers and Sacristans should be particularly aware of this.
