old male driver was arrested for DUI.<br />

Pacific Grove: Subject arrested and transported to county<br />

jail. His property was brought to the station and was not transported<br />

to county jail. <strong>The</strong> items were placed into the suspect’s<br />

backpack and held for safekeeping. Prior to being transported to<br />

county jail, the suspect was advised of the location of his property<br />

and how to retrieve it in the future.<br />

Pacific Grove: Victim on Lighthouse Avenue reported the<br />

side of his business truck was spray painted. No suspect information.<br />

Pacific Grove: Resident’s bicycle recovered in Monterey.<br />

Owner did not want to pursue criminal charges. Bicycle returned<br />

to owner.<br />

Pacific Grove: Gunshot suicide at a David Avenue residence.<br />

Pacific Grove: Two people reported that they purchased ads<br />

from a local rep selling newspaper ads for a Chico-based company.<br />

Checks were cashed but ads never ran as promised. Local<br />

rep advised the victims that he had not been paid and alerted<br />

them to the fraud.<br />

Pacific Grove: Envelope received at PGPD. Placed into safekeeping<br />

for district attorney investigation.<br />

Pacific Grove: Person reported a dog in a vehicle for two<br />

days at Jewell Park. Black and white pit bull or similar with collar<br />

observed to be in good health. Interior of vehicle gave<br />

appearance that someone was living in RV. Unsuccessful in contacting<br />

owner. Followup by animal control officer pending.<br />

Pacific Grove: Package stolen from front doorstep on<br />

Lincoln. Unwanted contents were discarded in neighbor’s recycling<br />

bin. Possible suspect was seen leaving the area an on<br />

unknown type multicolored motorcycle.<br />

<strong>Carmel</strong> Valley: A vehicle was discovered with suspended<br />

registration. <strong>The</strong> vehicle was located in a public place. <strong>The</strong> vehicle<br />

was towed.<br />

<strong>Carmel</strong> area: A 15-year-old student at <strong>Carmel</strong> High School<br />

was cited for being in possession of marijuana.<br />

<strong>Carmel</strong> area: A juvenile at <strong>Carmel</strong> High School was cited<br />

for being in possession of a knife.<br />

<strong>Carmel</strong> area: A juvenile at <strong>Carmel</strong> High School was cited<br />

for being in possession of shotgun ammunition.<br />

<strong>Carmel</strong>-by-the-Sea: A traffic collision occurred on public<br />

property on Mission Street. Property damage only.<br />
