for aviation demand are the number of passengers
boarding aircraft (enplanements), the number of

landings (operations). With steady economic growth
anticipated in the region and affirmative steps by
the airport to encourage aviation use at Fort Smith,
the projections are for an average annual increase in
these indicators by 3.4% for enplanements, 3.3% for
based aircraft and 1.5% for operations.
