The following route will be chosen for the further project process, because <strong>of</strong> the size and relevance <strong>of</strong><br />

<strong>transport</strong> potentials, because <strong>of</strong> the far developed project status <strong>of</strong> the pilot trains, developed by the<br />

TRANSITECTS partners RVDI and ALOT and because <strong>of</strong> the high interest shown by terminal operators<br />

and train operators: Beginning in <strong>Berlin</strong>-Grossbeeren (Transhipment terminal), with partly stopping at the<br />

transhipment terminal Nuremberg Bavaria port (with connection to the pilot train Nuremberg – Mantua),<br />

going to the transhipment terminal Ulm-Domstadt (connection to the pilot trains Ulm – Melzo) and returning.<br />

The parameters <strong>of</strong> the pilot train are shown in the following figure.<br />
