Description
The main body of Diddington Hall
was built in Elizabethan times circa
1580 and was used as a manor house.
In 1873 the manor was bought and
lived in by Lord Guernsey, the 8th Earl
of Aylesford. Under his ownership a
further twoVictorian wings were
added. Ownership of the manor has
been retained by the successors to
Lord Guernsey, however it has been
occupied by a number of individuals,
most notably the British Army from
1931 to 1945.
In the late 1990’s this Grade II * listed
building was acquired by Chase
Norton Construction who
undertook a sympathetic renovation
of the building and subsequently
used it as their company
headquarters.
Today this impressive building stands
in its own grounds in a unique
location and would be suitable for a
variety of uses.
