YISE YOUTH ANNOUNCEMENTS<br />

The Youth Minyan will start at 9:15am in the small side of the Social Hall. This Shabbos is a<br />

Youth Minyan Kiddush Club Kiddush.<br />

There are no Shabbos Youth Groups this Shabbos. Summer groups will start July 10 for 2-5<br />

year olds upstairs in the youth rooms. There are no summer groups for girls and boys in the 1st-<br />

4th grade.<br />

Rabbi Rosenbaum’s Shiur for 6 th – 8 th grade boys will not meet this Shabbos.<br />

WEEKDAY SHIURIM<br />

The Wednesday morning class previously taught by Rabbi Anemer, z”l, is now conducted<br />

by Rabbi Zev Katz at 11am in the small Beis Medrash.<br />

The Wednesday evening Advanced Men’s Gemara shiur previously taught by Rabbi Anemer,<br />

z”l, is now conducted by Rabbi Moshe Arzouan, following Maariv at University Blvd.<br />

Rabbi Rosenbaum’s Sunday night shiur for men in Mishna Brurah meets at his home. For<br />

Rabbi Rosenbaum’s Wednesday night Women’s shiur will resume July 14.<br />

No Business Like Shul Business…<br />

YISE has the nicest Kiddushes, on a regular basis, of any Shul in the Metro DC area, but we<br />

need volunteers to help clean up after! Call Alan at the Shul office, 301-593-4465, ext. 401.<br />

Nine is Not Enough – There have been evenings recently when getting a Minyan for<br />

Mincha/Maariv at University Blvd. has been difficult... and that is a major problem for daveners<br />

there who have to say Kaddish. If you have the time and are going to daven anyway, head for<br />

University Blvd. some evenings and help keep the Minyan going.<br />

It’s your Shul – treat it like you would want your home treated!<br />

The unveiling of a monument for Mrs. Helen G. Spector, a”h, is scheduled for Monday,<br />

July 5, 12 noon, National Capitol Hebrew Cemetery, Capitol Heights.<br />

Gemachs – Visit yise.org to find out about area gemachs, where you can donate or borrow<br />

items, ranging from bicycles and children equipment to simcha clothes.<br />

Rivky Krestt will continue a refresher course on Taharat HaMishpacha at KMS, for<br />

married women only. The class meets from 10:00-11:00 am, Wednesdays, July 7 and 14.<br />

Career Fair – The Partnership for Public Service will host its eighth annual Public Service<br />

Career and Internship Fair July 14, 3pm-7pm at the National Building Museum in<br />

Washington, DC. Last year's event connected 78 federal agencies with more than 6,000<br />

students and jobseekers.<br />

A new resource 24 hours a day – <strong>Baltimore</strong><strong>Jewish</strong><strong>Life</strong>.com launched in June with the aim<br />

of providing an online listing of local minyan times, retail establishments, simchas and<br />

levayas, and more. The site is aimed directly at the Orthodox community and the local staff<br />

– all members of the frum community – will ensure every article, video and even ad will be<br />

appropriate for the community to read.<br />

An aerobics class for women will meet on Tuesday evenings from 8:00-9:00 pm<br />

(reasonable rates.) Work on your muscles using weights to the sounds of <strong>Jewish</strong>/Israeli<br />
