DIGITAL GROUP
The group met at the ‘The
Pavilion’, Martlesham on Sunday 8 th
August. Even though the aendance
was light, most likely due to the off
season blues, those aending had a
most enjoyable day.
We started the day looking at
Photo Book publishing lead by Roy
Essery. It is hoped that members
will try book publishing as a way
of showing their work to a wider
audience. Roy uses the photo-book as
a way of recording his years work. The
on-line prinng companies supply free
down loadable soware and charge
very reasonable prices for the finished
photo-book. For example, Roy uses
www.yophoto.co.uk and Brian Beaney
www.blub.com. A very good text
book, which explains all the ins and
outs of book publishing, is “Creang
Digital Photo-books” by Tim Daly.
In the aernoon Brian Beaney
explained his latest Photo Art, which
just showed us what is possible if you
are a skilled arst using Photo Shop.
Brian illustrated his talk by using one
of his fantasc mythical beast pictures,
which won the Gold Medal at the 2010
