Looking back<br />
The baseball program was initiated in 1948 under the direction of<br />
Cliff Papik, whose tenure spanned over 30 years at BHSU. During his<br />
career as head baseball coach, he compiled a 326-179 record, won<br />
eight conference titles, and produced five National Association of<br />
Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) All-Americans. In 1978 the baseball<br />
diamond (above) was dedicated as Clifford G. Papik Field. The<br />
baseball program ended at BHSU in 1982.<br />
