The 52nd Street Project is a non-profit organization that brings children from
the hell’s Kitchen neighborhood together with professional theater artists to
create original theater. Puns In The Oven is a production of our one-on-one
program, which is designed to give children the opportunity to go away for
one-week stays in the country and enjoy the undivided attention of a
professional theater artist who serves as friend, mentor, and collaborator. The
Project is delighted to return to the Ensemble Studio Theatre, where we have
been performing since our inception in 1981. We gratefully acknowledge the
fact that if E.S.T. wasn’t here, we’d be nowhere.
