SPRING.MELODY—YAN FENG-LANG VS. ZHENG SHENG-YANG JOINT EXHIBITION
In the season of Spring, artists see warm sunshine, beautiful blossom, and symbols of prosperous and growing life
everywhere. In this exhibition “Spring . Melody—Yan Feng-Lang VS. Zheng Sheng-Yang Joint Exhibition,” artists Yan
Feng-Lang and Zheng Sheng-Yang present the beautiful landscapes in their eyes and the “Spring” in their mind with oil
painting works.
Mr. Yan Feng-Lang takes beautiful landscapes he appreciates in his trips as his creative elements. His creating style
emphasizes reality, abundant accumulation of colors, and splendid rhythm of light and shadow. His works include
tranquil objects, mountain villages, mountain views, harbors, and fishing boats. Appreciators feel they are located at his
paintings. With the spreading colors of mountains, accumulation of colorful landscapes, and splendid rhythm of light and
shadow, Mr. Yang's works explore the mind of appreciators and inspire their passion and affect. The other artist is Mr.
Zheng Sheng-Yang. He takes his feeling toward the surrounding environment in his life, such as the rural landscapes,
harbors, and fishing boats in Taiwan, as his creative elements. His main style of color is green and blue. He describes
the broad mind and spacious sight of fishermen who live on the sea. Besides, he makes use of the contrast between red
and yellow and expresses his feeling toward life. His creative style is based on special understanding. His works present
gorgeous quality and vivid fun.
Both artists have a special love for their homeland. Through their works, they hope to share more vivid and beautiful
