In the memory of Marco Sheppard, the Chattanooga football program<br />
will present “The Marco Sheppard Mr. Hustle Award” annually. This award<br />
will be given to the Mocs football player who displays the hustle, the<br />
leadership skills and the desire to be the best – the same characteristics<br />
that set Marco apart from anyone else. The initial Mr. Hustle Award was<br />
presented in 1998 by former head coach Buddy Green to Marco’s mother,<br />
Mabel, and Marco’s alma mater, DeKalb High School, in Atlanta, Ga.<br />
