Extra Information<br />

To work out the volume of a single water molecule you will need to<br />

find out the ‘Molar Volume of water’ (this is the volume of 1 mole of<br />

water). 1 mole contains N A water molecules where N A is called<br />

‘Avogadro’s s Constant’ so you will need to find this out as well!<br />

You might not be able to find the Molar Volume of water but you can<br />

work it out if you find the ‘Molar Mass of water’ <strong>and</strong> the density of<br />

water (use the equation density = mass/volume.<br />
