An important part of the inspection
and monitoring programme is the
execution of special inspections and
technical investigations when
necessary. These inspections and
investigations are initiated due to
e.g. unexpected SMS measurements,
extended damages or indication of
beginning failure of the components.
Most of the data evaluation and
modelling is expected done on the
basis of special inspections.
Maintenance inspection by COWI at the main cable of Small Belt Suspension
Bridge in Denmark, in order to update Bridge Maintenance System database.
