MASTERTON, WAIRARAPA,
NZ 2013 AIRSHOW
A small sampling of
the 70 WWI & II warbirds that performed for 30,000 spectators at Hood
Aerodrome in Masterton, Wairarapa this January. Easily the largest attendance since ‘Wings
Over Wairarapa’ began in 1999, much of that record-breaking crowd was undoubtedly drawn by
the world’s only flying de Havilland Mosquito; 20 Mosquito veterans were special guests.
