The Vancouver International Boat Show returns
to BC Place for its 53rd season! Western
Canada’s premiere boat show once again calls
the contemporary, multi-purpose stadium it’s
home away from home.
With over 250 exhibitors this year, show goers
can discover the newest and most innovative
in boats, boating products, and boating
accessories. Take advantage of show deals and
get tips from industry experts for a successful
2015 boating season.
This year, show goers can begin anticipating
the arrival of the Vancouver Urban Resort at BC
Place in 2017; this world-class structure will
encompass two luxury hotels, a conference
centre, restaurants, a spa, and retail spaces
– all in one venue attached to the existing,
architecturally stunning stadium.
Free shuttle buses and water ferries run continuously
during the five-day event, to conveniently
take you between the indoor venue at BC Place
and the Floating Show at Granville Island.

Boat Alley
Beautifully created with intricate detail, the Wooden
Boat Alley showcases the finest wooden boats, crafted
by BC’s most talented craftsmen. Don’t miss out on
the chance to interact with these artisans, as they
are passionate in sharing their expertise. Take in a
demonstration of the craftsmen showcasing their skills
and inquire about tips, tricks, and techniques on how to
build a masterpiece of your own, all while being inspired
by the lovely wooden boat creations on display!

Be sure to sign up and experience firsthand
the Discover Boating Hands-on Skills
Training program at the Floating Show on
Granville Island. Learn beginner or advanced
fundamentals of close quarters boat handling
around other boats, piers and docks, with a
professional educated in the Hands-on Skills
Training program.
There’s something for everyone—from absolute
beginners to seasoned skippers! Our aim is
to make boating more accessible, safe and
enjoyable for everyone!
Each event is 60 minutes and limited to 4
persons per boat. These effective learning
events will help develop skills that will last a
lifetime and add significantly to your boating
safety and enjoyment.
