AUT, MI, DD, 8 Years & Older
This training program is for swimmers who know at least one swim
stroke and are able to swim one length of the pool unassisted. Those
wishing to compete in Special Olympics can receive their training in
the program but are not obligated to compete with WSSRA. Bring a
suit and towel. Transportation is available on a limited basis. Please
Note: Due to the limited swim lessons available, swim team
members are not eligible for swim lessons. You will continue
to do skill development as part of the swim team.

MI, AUT, DD, MH, 13 Years & Older
Come out and train for the Special Olympic Track & Field team. Weekly
programs will include warm up exercises and practice for the following
events: softball throw, short running race, and long jump. Each
participant will have the opportunity to participate in the Regional and
Area Special Olympic Meet in Spring. Participants will automatically be
registered for Spring Games on Sunday, May 3, 2009. All participants
must have a current Special Olympic medical on file by March 1, 2009
to participate in Spring Games. See page 7 for form. Participants must
be registered for winter and spring training session to compete.

Enjoy an afternoon of fitness fun and Special Olympic Track & Field
Training. Participants will:

♦ Learn healthy eating by having healthy snacks.
Participants will automatically be registered for Spring Games on
