The Genus ABS Grassland brochure is tailored
to suit the needs of those farmers looking to
maximize milk from forage.
The sire selection is aimed towards
moderate sized cows which carry condition.
Their genetics are focused on increasing
components and fertility.
Our sire selection is a varied and exciting
range representing the Holstein, Friesian,
Viking Red, Montbeliarde and Jersey breeds.
These sires are sourced from our global stud
which has testing programmes all over the
world, including grassland hotspots such as
Ireland and New Zealand.
This brochure contains information on both
UK (PLI) and Irish (EBI) indexes. This gives
you, the farmer, more information about the
product you are purchasing and the option
to really drill down into a bulls proof. More

able to identify fertility ratings of our
stud. The bulls with the highest Semen
Fertility are identified with this symbol.
Identifies those bulls that score well
on the traits that are desirable on a
grassland system, locomotion, fertility
and body condition score etc.
