On October 11th, Scott Parker (’70) hosted a group of College of Pharmacy alumni at his store and café, Watson Drug and Soda fountain, in Orange, CA. All College of Pharmacy alumni in the southern California area were invited to attend. In the greater LA area we have over 200 graduates. Dean Ireland and his wife Mary Kay attended. Dean Ireland shared an update about the College and the progress of the new pharmacy research building. Everyone who attended had a wonderful time and all are looking forward to doing it again next year. Scott is planning to host the event again next fall and would like to see the event grow in numbers.
