First, you need to pick a doctor. The Dr. will send you to a specialist if you need one. There are a lot of doctors<br />
to pick from. You should also pick a doctor for each member of your family.<br />
Next, make an appointment with your doctor. This will give him or her a chance to get to know your health.<br />
Remember, you do not want to wait until you are sick to pick a doctor.<br />
All of your health care is provided at your doctor’s office or through written referrals from your doctor. In an<br />
emergency call 9-1-1 or go to the nearest Hospital Emergency Room. Sometimes you may have a medical<br />
problem that is not really serious and your doctor’s office is closed. For those times you can use an Urgent<br />
Care service. Check this book or call 1-800-887-6888 for a list of offices.<br />
